  • Delivery to your driveway or job site
  • Pickup when you are done
  • 7-day rental period
  • Disposal up to the included weight

5 Factors That Determine Your Dumpster Rental Cost

  1. 1. Location

Disposal fees and drive time vary by city, so your ZIP code sets the base rate.

  2. 2. Dumpster size

Larger containers cost more but are cheaper than paying for a second haul.

  3. 3. Debris type

Heavy material like concrete and dirt goes in a dedicated heavy-debris box.

  4. 4. Debris weight

Each size includes a weight allowance; extra tons are billed per ton.

  5. 5. Rental length

A 7-day rental is included. Longer projects pay a flat daily extension.

Possible Additional Fees

Most rentals never see an extra charge. These only apply when a rental goes beyond the service agreement. Full details are on our fees page, and loading help or hard-to-reach debris is covered in the hauling charges guide.

How to Keep Your Dumpster Cost Down

  • Pick the size that fits the whole job; one larger dumpster usually beats two smaller hauls.
  • Keep heavy debris (concrete, dirt, roofing) within the included weight or use the heavy-debris box.
  • Keep the delivery spot clear of cars and obstacles to avoid trip fees.
  • Cover the dumpster when it rains; wet debris weighs more.
  • Keep prohibited items like tires, batteries and paint out of the container.
